Cosmetology
Students completing this program will develop the technical skills associated with cosmetologists, nail technicians, hair stylists, makeup artists and aestheticians. The program also includes instruction in hygiene, equipment sanitizing, customer relations and salon management.
A total of 1,600 hours of instruction is required to take the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology Examination. The Cosmetology program covers the composition of hair, skin, and nails, hair cutting, hair coloring, chemical hair restructuring, manicuring, facials, hairstyling, and how to identify diseases and disorders of the hair, skin, and nails.
New programs start every six weeks. A "Fast-Track" option is also available so you can complete the program in just 12 to 15 months!

- High school diploma or GED
- Social Security card, Proof of Citizenship or Government Issued Photo ID

$9.59 to $17.14 per hour
