Phlebotomy

Laboratories employ phlebotomists to collect quality blood samples from patients and produce reliable test results in the laboratory ranging from toxin screenings and cholesterol counts, to tests for viruses and bacterial infections. A phlebotomy technician is an integral member of the medical laboratory team.

This program prepares students to take the National Healthcareer Association examination to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician.

  • TB Skin Test
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED

12 Weeks (144 hours with externship)

Monday through Thursday
5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Average Starting Salary Range
$11.49 to 17.01 per hour
