Sterile Processing & Distribution (SPD)

SPD Technicians are responsible for sterilization, infection control, and the stocking of medical and surgical supplies. This position entails working with extensive machinery for the sterilization process.  Upon completion of this training program, possible employment opportunities include hospitals or surgery centers.

The SPD program features a state-of-the-art learning lab and equipment that has been provided through a VA Partnership.

20 weeks (600 hours)

Schedule
Monday through Friday
5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Average Starting Salary Range
$11.06 to $17.48 per hour
