Cosmetology

Learn the technical skills of cosmetology including hygiene, sanitation, customer relations and salon management.  Training also involves practicing on mannequins and each other, learning the theory of chemicals, cutting, client safety and time in the working salon at the campus. 

The program operates a clinic salon for the public at reduced prices. A total of 1,600 hours is required to take the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology exam.

Additional Comments:  Students attend class four hours per day and may be required to provide their own transportation.

Average Entry Level Salary: $10 - $14 per hour

Aesthetics

Specialize in the science of skin and complexion care by learning exfoliation, deep pore cleansing, specialized treatments, facials and facial massages and waxing techniques.

Prepare to take the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology exam for Aestheticians after completing this 600 hour program.
