Massage Therapy


 

One-year Program (Seniors only)

Study Eastern and Western massage modalities including Swedish, Sports, Chair, Shiatsu, amongst others. Coursework includes mycology, pathology, hygiene, professional development and ethics. 

Prepare for working in the public clinic through hands-on training. 

Complete 700 hours of training for licensure from the National Certification Examination for therapeutic massage and bodywork. 

Students must be 18 years of age before applying for state licensure.

License:  Massage License

Recommended:  2.5 GPA, Biology, Human Anatomy & Physiology for Medical Careers.  Seniors only.

Possible Careers:  Massage Therapist

Average Entry Level Salary:  $16- $19 per hour


Two-year Program (Juniors)
