Sterile Processing & Distribution (SPD)

Sterile Processing and Distribution Technicians sterilize surgical instruments, retrieve patient care equipment, order and stock medical and surgical supplies, and monitor infection control.

Support offered by SPD technicians allow other medical center professionals valuable direct patient treatment time.

Average Entry Level Salary: $11.06 to $17.48 per hour
