Students from Apache Junction, Chandler, Fountain Hills, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, Scottsdale, Tempe, Higley and J.O. Combs spend a half-day at EVIT in a career preparation program and the other half-day at their home high school.

All 10th, 11th and 12th grade students can attend tuition-free. Bus transportation is provided to and from EVIT by the school districts for most programs.

The EVIT Adult Education Center is NCA-CASI accredited and serves students age 18 and older across Phoenix and the East Valley in the areas of health care and nursing, industrial and commercial technology, human services and automotive technology.

Most programs provide training and required hours for students to be able to sit for certification exams once class is completed.

EVIT Adult Education Center offers adults affordable tuition, interest-free payment plans and financial aid to those who qualify.

It is the policy of the East Valley Institute of Technology District #401 to provide all persons with equal employment and education opportunities regardless of race, color, sex, national origin, marital status, age or disability. District grievance procedures will be followed for compliance with Title IX and Section 504 requirements. The compliance officer is the EVIT Superintendent.
