The East Valley Institute of Technology’s Education Foundation (EVITEF) is hosting its annual gourmet fundraiser breakfast on Nov. 8. The breakfast, which is EVITEF’s only fundraiser of the year, from 7 to 9 a.m. in the EVIT Culinary Banquet Hall, 1601 W. Main Street, Mesa.

The funds raised will provide scholarships for qualifying low-income students. Last year’s event raised more than $95,000 and assisted nearly 200 EVIT students in paying for class fees, uniforms, kits and tools.

About EVITEF

The EVIT Foundation has always believed that all people, regardless of social or economic condition, have the capacity to take charge of their lives and should be enabled and empowered to make critical decisions for their future.

We are focused on providing this vision to the students of EVIT because we value the range of human diversity and seek to give them the means to attain their goals, resulting in competent, productive and responsible citizens.

We recognize that we have the responsibility and opportunity to contribute to the communities in which we live, by providing the tools in which our students can become a stronger and more desirable, trained workforce.

Your contributions and donations to the EVIT Foundation will be used to provide the means to help our eligible students pay for the supplies needed to complete their program training and to pay for their certification testing, 3rd party credentials and in some cases, licensing.

We are committed to the efficient use of our resources and will always make it a priority to be responsible stewards of the funds that have been entrusted to us.  Save
