Superstition Fire & Medical District training prepares students for firefighter credentials

Students and staff are nominees in 11 categories of the John Drury National High School Radio Awards for their work on 88.7FM The Pulse.

The broadcast schedule features schools throughout the East Valley, including Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Tempe, Queen Creek and Ahwatukee.

Nearly 2,500 high school students and adults completed career training programs at the East Valley Institute of Technology in May.

Event includes an automotive competition for high school students, Pinewood Derby, remote control car race track, and car show.
