The EVIT Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts programs are the only high school culinary and baking programs in Arizona accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation.
Explore your passion for cooking while developing skills in all facets of the food service and hospitality industries. Training is provided in culinary arts (a la carte & quantity cooking), commercial baking and dining room operations.
Students gain hands-on experience working special functions, breakfasts, luncheons and dinners in the culinary banquet hall. Students also have the opportunity to participate in culinary competitions and work with many of the top chefs and restaurants in the valley.

East Valley high school students who have already completed a Culinary Arts program at their high school may be eligible to enroll directly into the second year of EVIT’s program where they can specialize in one of three areas:
Advanced Culinary Cuisine
Commercial Baking & Pastry
Hospitality Management
Note: This is a dual enrollment course. For more information, visit the
