The EVIT Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts programs are the only high school culinary and baking programs in Arizona accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation.

Explore your passion for cooking while developing skills in all facets of the food service and hospitality industries.

In the first year, develop skills for food preparation, food production and service in a commercial kitchen while preparing to earn national certification as a ServSafe Food Service Manager.

East Valley high school students who have already completed a Culinary Arts program at their high school may be eligible to enroll directly into the second year of EVIT’s program where they can specialize in one of three areas:


  • Advanced Culinary Cuisine
  • Commercial Baking & Pastry
  • Hospitality Management

    The second year covers advanced applications in commercial kitchen equipment, organization and operations, sanitation, quality control, quantity food preparation and food preparation skills.

    Average Entry Level Salary $11 - $14 per hour
