Culinary Arts and Commercial Baking students at the East Valley Institute of Technology are prepping for one of their biggest events of the year:  the annual Thanksgiving Bake Sale.

Valley residents can get some help with their holiday baking by purchasing rolls, pies and more prepared by EVIT’s culinary and baking students.

A dozen cottage cheese dill rolls are $4; a dozen whole wheat or white rolls are $3. Prices on pies range from $9.50 for Chocolate Pecan to $7 for apple or pumpkin. Loaf breads are $6 for cranberry orange, chocolate chip banana nut, or pumpkin. And the students will also be baking cranberry white chocolate bars and apple walnut caramel bars; each costs $6.50.

All proceeds from the bake sale go into the Culinary Arts and Commercial Baking programs to assist students.

Orders can be placed until Wednesday, November 18 at 5 p.m. MST. Orders can be picked up on Tuesday, Nov. 24 and Wednesday, Nov. 25 at the Culinary Arts building on the Dr. A. Keith Crandell (Main) Campus, 1601 W. Main St., Mesa.
