The Arizona Community Foundation offers more than 150 scholarships that students can apply for online through one general application.

High school seniors, current college students, graduate students, or adult re-entry students attending accredited schools anywhere in the U.S. may apply. Scholarships are available for two-year and four-year accredited colleges and universities, as well as technical and vocational schools.

The general application process begins in January each year and students are advised to apply early to qualify for the most awards. Deadlines vary for every scholarship, with many deadlines falling between March 1 and May 1.

What is the FAFSA, Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  It is the form you need to complete to get any financial aid from the federal government to help pay for college. gives these important FAFSA facts.

1. Submitting the FAFSA is the most important thing you can do if you want financial aid.
2. The FAFSA is free - you don't need to pay anyone to prepare it for you.
3. You need to submit a new FAFSA before each academic year in which you want to get aid.  If you plan to apply for aid throughout college, you'll need to fill out the FAFSA each year.
4. Be sure to use a permanent email address on the form, not your high school email, so you can use your FAFSA account throughout college.

There are three ways to complete and submit your FAFSA:

  • Online at
  • With the myStudentAid app, available in iTunes or Google Play
  • By printing and filling out a FAFSA form, then mailing it to the address on the form.
