Want to save time preparing your Thanksgiving feast and help a good cause at the same time? Purchase your pumpkin pie, rolls and other dinner essentials from The Culinary School @ EVIT.
EVIT’s Commercial Baking & Pastry Arts program and Culinary Arts program host a Thanksgiving Bake Sale every year, with proceeds benefiting students in The Culinary School @ EVIT. But unlike last year, the school will be taking pre-orders to help keep student/customer interaction to a minimum during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Faculty would prefer that orders be placed and paid for online at http://evit-culinary-bakery.square.site/. But orders can also be placed by calling Chef Scott Meyer at (480) 461-4132 and leaving a message, or by emailing [email protected]. Customers will pick up their orders between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Nov. 23-24.
Very important: The last day to place orders is Nov. 20 by 4 p.m.
The menu includes: Pumpkin, Apple, Cranberry Apple and Pecan pies; White, Wheat and Cottage Cheese Dill rolls; Banana Walnut, Cranberry Orange and Pumpkin Toffee breads; Frosted Brownies, White Chocolate Butterscotch Pecan Blondies and Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars; Sweet Potato Casserole, Turkey Stock and Cranberry Relish.
The Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts programs in The Culinary School @ EVIT are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation.
