EVIT Counseling Office

The EVIT Counseling Department is changing lives, loving our students and serving our community by meeting their social, emotional  and academic needs.


Lori Rich is a counselor on both the Main and Power Road EVIT campuses.  She is the counselor for Cosmetology at both campuses.  She is also the counselor at Main campus for Aesthetics, Banking, Barbering, culinary/Baking, Early childhood education, Fashion Design and interior Design.  Please contact her at 480-461-4166 or lrich@evit.com.
Jake Hansen
(M.Ed.) has degrees in both Psychology and Education and has worked in the field of education and youth development since 2001. He has served in a variety of capacities such as teaching, coaching, social work, workforce development and counseling. He is particularly passionate about CTE because he believes it serves an under-served population of students with skills and capabilities that deserve to be nurtured and celebrated.

David Pullman (M.Ed.) has been involved in education for over 25 years, the last 14 as a School Counselor at EVIT. David has earned a Master of Arts in Educational Counseling from San Jose State University, and in addition to his Counseling responsibilities, David specializes in CTE, working with 11th and 12th graders.  His tasks include career placement, monitoring Community College dual enrollment partnerships, and promoting CTE programs with students, parents, and high school counselors.

  Joyce Eagar-Lemons (M.A.) has enjoyed being a school counselor for over 20 years.  She has worked extensively with at risk, under-represented, under prepared and minority students.  Joyce earned a Masters in Counseling Psychology, Counselor Education from the University of Colorado at Denver.  She is excited to be  to be working with the students, staff, parents and community at EVIT.
