EVIT is Arizona’s oldest public Career Technical Education District (CTED), providing career training to high school students and adults in 11 East Valley communities. EVIT operates two central campuses in Mesa, branch campuses at Apache Junction High School and in Fountain Hills, and provides funding for satellite CTE programs in East Valley high schools.

“EVIT changes lives by loving our students and serving our community. Every day we provide exceptional Career and Technical Education learning opportunities that prepare our students to participate in helping shape a better tomorrow,” Dr. Wilson said. “Being who we expect ourselves to be requires us to do the right thing in all things we do, and if we error, we accept our mistake and make a better decision.”

Dr. Wilson said the quality of EVIT as an organization is rooted in the people it hires and programs it offers.

“We attract and retain staff that believe what we believe, we seek their input and embrace a process of collaboration rooted in mutual respect,” he said. “We don’t come to work each day because it’s our job; we come to work each day to change the lives of the students we love and the communities we support.”
